Hi, I'm Cori!

I'm an Orton-Gillingham certified educator with a Master's degree in Education, specializing in inclusive education and literacy, along with post-graduate certification in Level B assessment. Over the years, I've worked in schools as both a Learning Specialist and an IEP Case Manager, supporting students and families through every stage of the learning journey.

But my connection to this work isn't just professional, it's personal. I'm a parent to three neurodivergent kids, one of whom is significantly dyslexic. I know firsthand what it feels like to sit across from a teacher, wondering if your child will get the support they need, and I know how much it matters when someone truly sees your child, not just their challenges.

That's why I started Melonade Learning: to offer literacy support that's personalized, collaborative, and rooted in understanding the whole child. Whether we're working together in a 1:1 session, going through an assessment, or navigating an IEP, my goal is always the same — helping your child feel confident, capable, and understood.
