I'm an Orton-Gillingham certified educator with a Master's degree in Education, specializing in inclusive education and literacy, along with post-graduate certification in Level B assessment. Over the years, I've worked in schools as both a Learning Specialist and an IEP Case Manager, supporting students and families through every stage of the learning journey.

I offer literacy support that's personalized, collaborative, and rooted in understanding the whole child. Whether we're working together in a 1:1 session, going through an assessment, or navigating an IEP, my goal is to help your child feel confident and capable.

I am an Orton-Gillingham Practitioner and Supervisor with OG Canada, with an additional certification from The Center for Effective Reading Instruction as a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist.

With 18 years of experience working in schools for students with learning differences, I anchor my practice in deep knowledge, personal insight, and a collaborative approach to supporting students and families. I specialize in 1:1 intervention and create tailored learning sessions that address core learning challenges identified in assessments, transforming them into lasting growth, resilience, and success.

Our Story

We actually met while working together at the same school, and it didn't take long to realize we had more in common than a staff room. Each of us was also raising children on their own learning journeys, including dyslexia and autism. That has affected how we show up for the families we work with now. We know firsthand what it feels like to sit across from a teacher, wondering if your child will get the support they need.

We believe every child's brain is wonderfullyunique, and that a student is never "just" one thing. They're curious, capable, and full of their own strengths, and we build every learning plan around that truth. That means looking beyond where a child is at in their reading and writing, and paying attention to their interests, their pace, and how much ownership they feel over their own progress. We want kids to become activeparticipants in their own learning, even learning how to teach others, whether that's a sibling, a friend, or their own parents.

And that's why we don't stop at the child. We invite parents into the process too, through optional sessions where we share how to keep supporting your child's growth at home.
